Refund & Cancellation Policy
Life Saver Foundation Trust (LSFT) is committed to maintaining transparency and accountability in all financial transactions. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which refunds and cancellations may be considered for donations, registrations, memberships and event-related payments made through our website or authorized payment channels.
1. Donation Refund Policy
Donations made to Life Saver Foundation Trust are voluntary contributions towards charitable, educational, healthcare, social welfare and community development activities. As a general policy, donations are non-refundable.
- Donors are requested to verify all information before making a donation.
- Once a donation is successfully processed, it shall normally not be cancelled or refunded.
- Donation receipts generated after successful payment shall be considered proof of contribution.
2. Exceptional Refund Requests
Refund requests may be considered only in exceptional circumstances such as:
- Duplicate transaction due to technical error.
- Incorrect amount debited because of a payment gateway issue.
- Unauthorized transaction reported by the donor and verified by the Trust.
- Any other genuine case approved by the management of the Trust.
Approved refunds, if any, shall be processed through the original payment method within a reasonable period, subject to banking and payment gateway procedures.
3. Membership & Registration Cancellation
- Membership applications may be cancelled before approval by submitting a written request.
- Once membership approval has been granted, registration fees, if applicable, shall generally not be refundable.
- The Trust reserves the right to reject or cancel any application if false, incomplete or misleading information is provided.
4. Event, Training & Workshop Registration
- Cancellation requests for events, workshops, seminars or training programs must be submitted before the commencement of the program.
- Refund eligibility, if applicable, shall depend upon the nature of the event and administrative expenses already incurred.
- No refund may be granted after participation in the event has commenced.
5. Payment Gateway Charges
Any payment gateway fees, bank charges, processing fees or transaction charges deducted by financial institutions may be non-refundable and may be excluded from any approved refund amount.
6. Processing of Refund Requests
To request a refund, users must provide:
- Full Name
- Registered Mobile Number
- Transaction ID / Payment Reference Number
- Date of Transaction
- Reason for Refund Request
The Trust may request additional documents or information to verify the claim before processing any refund request.
7. Right to Refuse Refund
Life Saver Foundation Trust reserves the right to refuse any refund request that does not satisfy the conditions stated in this policy or where adequate supporting information is not provided.
8. Policy Updates
The Trust reserves the right to amend, modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Updated policies will be published on this website and shall become effective immediately upon publication.
